Arriving to Manchester Airport
We envisage that most people traveling by air will arrive into Manchester International Airport (MAN). From there there is a direct train to Liverpool Lime Street though some will require a change in Manchester City Centre (at the same station). The first train is 05:07 and the last train is at 22:49 on weekdays. Booking in advance can often save money but may restrict you to a specific time of train. You can also buy tickets at the station using the ticket kiosk or ticket machines.
Trainline.com is a reputable website for booking tickets. Click the next link to visit their website - trains from Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime St. Use the maps below to plan your journey.
Note: Due to staffing shortages travellers are being advised to arrive at Manchester Airport 3 hours prior to departure.

Whichever route you take, once you arrive in to Liverpool Lime St you can take a black cab or walk to your hotel. The university is ~5-10 minutes walk from Lime St Station.
